fashioned family traditions and hard
work are combined to produce our
Farmstead Cheeses. Our Gouda rivals any
made in the Netherlands. It has the same
mild taste, creamy texture and small,
bubbly eyes. An excellent dessert
cheese, it is also great for cooking and
melts beautifully. Our Aged Gouda won a
gold medal at the 3rd Annual Big E Gold
Medal Cheese Competition in September
2010, and our Plain Gouda won a bronze
medal at the same competition! In 2012
our Gouda with Salsa, Gouda with
Chipotle, Smoked Cheddar and Fiesta
Gouda Spread won gold medals at the Los
Angeles International Dairy Competition,
and our Aged Gouda and Smoked Gouda won
silver medals. At the 2012 Big E Gold
Medal Competition our Gouda with
Chipotle won a gold medal and Naturally
Smoked Cheddar won a bronze. At the 2014
Los Angeles International Dairy
we took home 2 gold medals – for our new
Gouda with Fenugreek and our new
with Cumin. In 2015, our cheeses and spreads won a remarkable total of 8 bronze medals at the Big E cheese competition. Order them online, and see if you

Smith’s Country Cheese produces, not
only the original farmstead Gouda in a
variety of flavors, but also cheddar in
medium, sharp, and extra sharp … and now

recognizes the appeal of farm fresh milk

Havarti cheeses. Unlike factory
produced cheese, our
Havarti share much of the same
characteristic quality, distinction and
